By popular demand ProjectBoard now allows users to play multiple roles within the same event. Extending the platform to support multiple role assignment was critical to our Ohio (link?) event which involved students, teachers, mentors and judges.

Each user type allows us to change our registration process to ask different profile and demographics questions. Now when you complete registration as one type off user, you can also go back to register as a second, or third user type. Each user type unlocks different event registration requirements and enables different features of the platform.

ProjectBoard has a lot of flexibility built-in. A single user account (email) can login to multiple events run by our different partners. And now within each event a user can be assigned multiple roles . So teachers can be running classroom activities with their students, and act as Judge on several projects for a specific STEM event, such as a regional or national science fair.
